THE BRAND
AMARIN was founded by Dutch designer Petra and Made, combining over 20 years of design expertise with a passion for exceptional craftsmanship.
After graduating in 3D Design, Petra moved to Bali, where she and her husband started a small leather atelier. Today, their workshop is home to around 80 skilled artisans, creating premium leather products for brands worldwide.
After decades of designing for others, Petra launched AMARIN to bring her own vision to life. Every handbag is designed with care and handcrafted in our own atelier using premium materials, timeless techniques, and ethical production practices.
The name AMARIN is deeply personal. It combines the names of Petra's husband, Made, her daughter, Robin, and her son, Anakin. It also honors her beloved sister, Marian, making the brand a tribute to the family who inspires her every day.
